LIPOSOME ENCAPSULATION

Nano-encapsulation technology is to encapsulate the functional ingredients with another material (raw material). The particle size is smaller, so that it cannot penetrate into the skin. Or water-insoluble or oiteinsoluble ingredients to achieve efficient skin penetration or compatibility. It can act on the target accurately, with sustained release and long-lasting effects.

Liposomes are divided into unilamellar liposomes and multilamellar liposo mes according to the number of layers of the lipid bilayer they contain. small unilamellar liposomes(SUV): particle size is about 0.02-0.08um; large unilamellar liposomes (LUV) are large single-layer vesicles with particle size of 0.1-1um. multilayered bilayer vesicles called multilamellar vesicles (MIV), particle size ranges from 1-5 um.

As a carrier of active ingredients, liposomes promote skin absorption mainly in the following aspects:

①Hydration mechanism: Phospholipids can enhance the hydration of the skin, thereby causing the keratinocytes to swell and increase the gap, making it easier for water-soluble active substances to penetrate the stratum corneum, while fat-soluble active substances enter the intercellular space through diffusion and capillary suction.

② Fusion mechanism: The phospholipids of the liposomes fuse with the lipids in the stratum corneum, and their barrier function is reversed. The stratum corneum forms a flat granular structure, and the liposomes encapsulating the drug smoothly pass through the gaps of the lipid particles, promoting Drugs are absorbed through the skin.

③Penetration mechanism: Complete liposomes can carry drugs into the body through two major transdermal delivery routes to participate in blood circulation. However, due to the differences in liposomes, the penetration depth of drug molecules is also different.

Common liposome series products: Five or multiple ceramides, encapsuled value: 0.3%, 1%, 2%,

Ceramide NP, encapsuled value: 0.3%, 1%, 2%,

Salicylic acid, encapsuled value: 20%

Astaxanthin, encapsuled value: 0.2%

Perostilbene, encapsuled value: 5%

Support customization: support the packaging of active ingredients with poor water solubility, strong irritation, easy oxidation and deactivation, low bioavailability, large molecular weight and aggregation.
